Amani Browne.

“We need another bottle of champagne,” my brother, Ogun, told the bottle girl. She bent over in front of him, placing a bucket of ice onto our table. Her ass cheeks were damn near in his lap, and all he could do was laugh at her forward behavior.

After putting two bottles of D’ussé in the bucket, she turned to us.

“Do you need anything else?” she asked before biting her lip.

OG smiled, exposing his grill, and her cheeks turned red. “Nah, that’ll be all for now, sweetheart.”

He peeled off two hundred-dollar bills from the wad of cash from his pocket and tucked it in the waist of her shorts. She nodded before leaving our section and I followed her until someone else caught my eye.

The blue dress she wore clung on her curvy frame. As my eyes continued to trail up the caramel beauty, I recognized her from the airport this morning. Swaying her hips, she rapped along to Drake’s song and another girl came beside her and joined in, rapping animatedly. They both fell into a fit of giggles before refilling their champagne flutes.

Kass,” I said aloud.

Man, she was fine as hell. Her attire tonight was the polar opposite of the leggings and hoodie she wore this morning. I licked my lips as I continued to admire her appearance. As she danced to the music, I thought back to our encounter this morning.

When we bumped into each other, I wanted to be annoyed by her carelessness, but when she turned around, my frustration dissipated. Her round gray eyes were breathtaking, and the scowl on her beautiful face softened my irritable mood.

This morning, I was about to miss my flight to Miami because Ogun overslept. Last night, he had a show in Baltimore, and afterward, we hit the studio. As we were putting the finishing touches on his fourth album, everyone was putting in overtime. We were so engrossed in recording and mixing; We lost track of time and fell asleep at the studio.

When we got back to our hotel, Ogun fell back asleep. Waking him up had never been an easy task. I somewhat felt bad for him, though. A good night’s rest hadn’t happened in nearly two months. He had a show tomorrow, and we spent most of today rehearsing. While I wanted to relax until tomorrow evening, he wanted to buy out the bar and party.

Typical Ogun.

“Damn, they’re fine as hell,” Ogun said, looking at Kass and her friend.

I nodded and finished my drink. Both were beautiful, but I’d already claimed my stake on Kass. She looked like ‘the good girl’ type. Watching her turn down a drink from her friend made me chuckle. She probably was in college studying biology or some shit, stayed out of trouble, and only dated preppy, Ivy League dudes. And that only piqued my interest in her more. I bet she’d never been with a man like me before.

“I should see if they’re tryna chill over here. What you think, AB?” Ogun asked.

I shrugged slightly, annoyed by the possibility of them accepting OG’s invitation to kick it with us. If Kass came over here, I’d probably lose all interest in her. I was over the groupie shit. Since I joined my brother’s team, I’d been coming into contact with women who were only interested in using you for clout and Instagram likes. And I wasn’t interested in that shit.

Something told me Kass wasn’t like that, though. She’d been here all night, and as far as I knew, she hadn’t looked our way once. Some lame came behind her asking to dance, and I expected her to turn him down like she’d done with the last two guys, but to my surprise, she obliged his request. I felt my body getting hot, and my jaw clenched tight at the sight of him touching her thighs, the same thighs I wanted to bury my face between, and feast like it was my last meal. Without registering what I was doing, I stalked over to her, bumping into people on the way.

“Step off,” I barked.

Kass’s eyes popped open at the sound of my voice. Her cheeks flushed when her gaze caught mine. The lame dude she was dancing with looked between us before backing away without question. Her mouth opened then quickly closed it when I stepped closer to her. Nervously, she tucked her hair behind her hair before returning her gaze to mine. For a moment, we just stared at each other until her friend interrupted us.

“You good, Kass?” she asked, as she looked back and forth between us.

Kass kept her eyes on me and nodded.

“I’m AB,” I said to her friend. Her friend was about to reply when Ogun caught her attention. He said something in her ear that made her laugh. Then he led her back to his section, and I turned my attention back to her.

“Is that short for something?” Kass asked before biting her juicy bottom lip.

“Is Kass short for something?” I shot back. Her lips curved into a seductive smile.

“Kassandra,” she said smirking.

“Amani Browne.” I held my hand out to shake.

She laughed again before grabbing my arm, pulling me close to her. Kass turned around and ground against me to the sounds of “Freak Hoe” by Speaker Knockerz. My hands roamed her curves as she wrapped hers around my neck. The song changed, but Kassandra continued to work her hips with ease. She raked her fingers through my fresh cut, eliciting a moan from me. My fingers trailed up the thin fabric of her dress across her stomach, and she shuddered against me. The need to feel her skin had my hands moving down her dress to her exposed thighs.

Placing her hand on top of mine, Kassandra urged me to keep my hand there. This woman that I know nothing about had me ready to risk it all on the dance floor of this crowded club. The DJ slowed it down, playing a mix of slow jams. Grabbing her hands from around my neck, I twirled her around to face me. I needed to see those sexy gray eyes. The strobe lights flickered across her face irradiating her beautiful features.

Kassandra peered at me through heavy lids as she pulled me closer. Our bodies molded together as I fought the desire to kiss her. A seductive smile covered her lips. My gaze lowered to her juicy pink lips. I wanted to take her bottom lip and suck on it as I dug deep inside of her. Just the mere thought of feeling her warm, wet walls made my dick stiffen. Pulling her closer by her plump, soft ass, I pressed my growing erection against her stomach.

“Don’t start something you can’t finish,” she warned.

Her tone was flirty, but I knew she was serious. My eyebrows shot up at her blunt response. Truthfully, I wasn’t expecting such a bold response from her. Pulling her bottom lip between her teeth made her look innocent.

Leaning down, I whispered in her ear, “You have no idea what I would do to you, Kassandra.”

And I meant that.

The positions I wanted to see Kassandra in had me ready to take her back to my condo.

My imagination continued to run wild when she replied, “I wanna know.” Pressing on her toes, she grazed her lips on mine. “Matter fact, I want you to show me.”

Her index finger down my chest and didn’t stop until she reached my belt.

“You sure about that?” I ran my nose down her neck, inhaling her sweet floral scent. Goosebumps appeared on her skin when I nipped her neck. I pulled back when I heard her moan.

Her moan, I could listen to it all night. She tilted her head back, whisking her lips against mine again. It took everything in me not to kiss her. Making out on the dance floor had never been my thing. Especially with a stranger, but tonight was a different night.

My life had taken a sudden turn from being a twenty-five-year-old, college drop-out struggling to get his name out there, to touring and producing while trying to find time to sleep and eat. I deserved a night of recklessness, and the beauty in front of me would be the one to satisfy my every need.

“Very,” she said against my lips.

Licking my bottom lip where the remnants of her kiss lingered, I took a step back from her. Her eyes exposed her apprehensions. I can’t lie she was talking a good game, but I knew she wouldn’t back it up. She’s a good girl, and I knew she wouldn’t be open to the possibility of having a one-night stand.

“Yeah, aight,” I told her, then spun her around.

We continued dancing until the slow jam mix ended. She looked at me, waiting for me to determine the next move. After weighing my options, I went back to my section. I couldn’t keep messing around with this girl. She had me all caught up. I was ready to leave this club with her, and all I knew was her name.
