There were two things about Raj that caught Tessa's eye: he was about business and he knew how to wear a suit. It was a shame they never worked closely together. Then again, that was probably for the best. Working with a man that fine was dangerous and she needed her job. Raj's head fell back as he laughed at a joke from Mark Humber, the CEO of Fundersland—an online fundraising platform. Tessa smirked before taking another gulp of her blueberry green tea.

They'd just finished their yearly executive team meeting and Sherita, the executive assistant to Mark, cornered Tessa. Sherita worked at the Chicago office but traveled to D.C. when necessary. Sherita had been with the company for almost three years now. She and Tessa were both twenty-nine-years-old and the youngest on the executive team, so naturally, they became work friends. There were rumors around the office that they gave Sherita the job because of her connections to the CEO's family. Unlike Sherita, Tessa started working at Fundersland as an intern during her junior year of college. By the time she graduated, there was a position for her in accounting. Eight years and two promotions later, she was the Director of Accounting.

"What are you doing tonight? I was thinking about going to a lounge," Sherita said, following Tessa's eyes across the room.

"We have a breakfast meeting at nine with the chiefs and I have another meeting at two with the accounting department. This weekend really is about work. I can't prance around town with you this time." Tessa huffed, slightly overwhelmed with her itinerary. The CFO was adamant about having a meeting with accounting while in town. Tessa believed it could've happened over the phone, but her boss was stuck in his ways and only believed in face-to-face meetings.

"But you have time to prance around with Raj Baldwin?"

Tessa finally tore her gaze from Raj to look at Sherita. "Huh?"

"You've been looking at him all day." Sherita shook her head and turned up her nose. "I mean, he is fine, but he ain't shit."

With furrowed eyebrows, Tessa asked, "What makes you say that?"

From what she saw when visiting the Chicago office, Raj was always in his office drowned in work, and during meetings, he was opinionated. Since he started two years ago, Tessa had been meaning to introduce herself, but the opportunity never presented itself. Not until today. She inhaled a sharp breath when she realized he was stalking her way.

Sherita noticed too and groaned. "Girl, good luck. Hopefully, he doesn't do you like he did my girl, Monica."

Monica used to work in the marketing department with Raj, but recently left the company. Her two-week notice came as a surprise to everyone. They kept the reasoning behind her departure quiet. Tessa never asked, nor did she necessarily care. She'd been around Monica a handful of times and their chemistry was off each time. Besides, whatever happened with Monica and Raj was none of Tessa's concern.

Tessa looked at Sherita with narrowed eyes. "I'll see you tomorrow," she told Sherita before walking to meet Raj halfway. "Tessa Moore," she told him while holding out her hand.

Accepting her hand, Raj replied, "I know who you are."

His raspy baritone caused a chill to shoot up her spine. The lecherous look in his whiskey colored orbs made her smile. Tessa took a long, deep breath as Raj continued to peer down at her. She tried to take a step back, but was held in place by Raj who was still holding her hand firmly.

"What are you about to do?" he asked before licking his lips, catching Tessa's eye. His beard was thick and trimmed neatly. She'd never noticed the sprinkle of gray hairs in his facial hair. To her, it only made him sexier.

"Hopefully, you," she stated boldly.

Raj's lips curved into a smile. "Hopefully."

"But first, let's go to the bar. That meeting was a lot." Tessa bit her bottom lip, impressed with how easily she was flirting with him. A second ago, she was a ball of nerves and now, she was practically throwing her panties at him.

With Sherita's words ringing in her ears, Tessa decided one night with him was all she was willing to give him. Relationships were off the table for now, but a one-night stand with her fine coworker was just what she needed to take the edge off. Knowing he was in a separate office thousands of miles away made the decision an easy one. The chances of them having an awkward encounter were slim. By the time she saw him again, their time together would be just a memory.

Finally, Raj released her hand. "Lead the way."

An hour and two drinks later, Tessa was fumbling to open the door to her hotel room. Behind her was Raj with his hard dick pressed firmly against her ass. His hungry mouth trailed kisses down her neck. Their time at the bar was just enough time for her to suppress her nerves, and get to know Raj a little better. They kept their conversation light, mostly talking about work related topics. Tessa was glad because she wasn't interested in Raj's personal life aside from his relationship status. She was no fool, he was so low key and private that she wouldn't have been surprised if he was married. Especially after hearing he messed around with Monica, who was married. Thanks to Sherita, Tessa knew about Monica's tendency to cheat with her coworkers, including their very married CEO, Mark.

Once she finally got the door open, Raj wasted no time undressing. Tessa did the same, slipping out of her pencil skirt and pulling her cream colored blouse over her head. Fluffing her thick head of curls, she leaned back on the desk, facing Raj who was sitting on the side of the bed.

"We need to establish some rules," she said after a moment.

"Rules, huh?" He sat with his long legs spread wide and his chest out.

She was fighting the urge to straddle his lap and kiss every inch of his rich espresso colored skin.

"Yes, we're coworkers and while we may work at different offices, we will most likely see each other again, soon," Tessa explained. Raj nodded for her to continue. "So, I think this should be a one time thing."

"What else?"

"After tonight, don't call or text me. I don't want to be tempted to double back."

Raj chuckled. "Anything else?"  Leaning forward, he reached for Tessa's hand, pulling her onto his lap. Tessa wanted to say more, but all her thoughts disappeared when Raj started kissing her neck. His hand slowly moved up her thigh until he reached the seat of her moistened panties.

"No," she replied breathlessly. "That's it."

"Good, now feed me that pussy."

With a smile, Tessa gleefully removed her panties and straddled his face.
